When you think of beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, you probably think of places St Lucia, Jamaica or Antigua. The Bahamas can often be overlooked but we’re here to tell you 5 reasons why you should book a Bahamas vacation for your next trip.
If you or your family have been thinking about taking a vacation, you’ve probably been weighing out your options on where to go. From the mountains to the ocean; from local to overseas, there are so many destinations, it can be overwhelming. There’s a lot to consider; price, safety, enjoyment and so much more. Some people enjoy being lazy while on vacation, others enjoy being active, and some love to spend their time learning.
Make sure you consider the people you’re planning to travel with, and all their preferences as well. Taking the time to preplan can make or break your trip because the more you plan now; the less you will have to think about later.
After careful consideration, I’ve concluded that the all-around best place to vacation in the Bahamas; and here are 5 reasons why:
The Weather in the Bahamas
The best part of the Bahamas is the amazing weather they have there. If you plan your trip during their peak season, you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a beautiful sunny sky. In January, weather averages a high of about 82 degrees Fahrenheit, and a low of about 66 degrees Fahrenheit.
No matter who you are, or where you’re from, that’s weather you can get on board with. And the beautiful part is that it stays that nice all year long. Just aim to hit the beaches during the on-season, otherwise, you are more likely to hit rain during their offseason, which may change your tanning plans. Whether your wet or dry, though, there’s no doubt you’ll be warm!
You’ve never seen beaches that are as beautiful and clear as the Bahamas beaches. With over 2000 islands and cays, they have miles and miles of white sandy beaches to choose from. Nearly all Bahamas vacation rentals will come with their own beach; whether it’s public or private.
The ocean never looked as good as it does there. It’s something everyone should experience in their lifetime; which is why people from all over the world come together to breathe in that clean ocean air, swim in those clear salty waters, and lay on the soft, white sand.
Things to do in the Bahamas
