December to March is the best time to visit if you are looking to avoid the heat; temperatures are mild at this time but it can be busy, especially in the tourist spots. Plus, hotel prices rise during this time.

It is common for visitors to rent a car, especially if you are spending a week or more in the emirate, whilst cycling is also a good option for those exploring the emirate; there is a bike sharing app with over 50 ticked bit share stations available.
Typical prices in Abu Dhabi
Hostels aren’t too popular in Abu Dhabi but you can save money by staying in a budget room or homestay, with prices starting at 100 Dirham.
Midrange rooms in good locations begin at 150 Diriam while more luxury hotels and high-end branded hotels can be found from 400 when booked in advance.
A cheap meal in a local restaurant begins at 30 Diriam with fast food costing a similar price. Sit-down meals begin at 200 but international meals will cost more.

Best things to do in Abu Dhabi
Although often overlooked, Abu Dhabi has a lot to offer visitors.
Firstly you need to visit the impressive Grand Mosque, but then head to the other historic sights in the emirate, like the fort and the palace.
Spend a day at Ferrari World before cooling off at the Yai Waterworld park. Visit the Emirates Heritage Village then spend an evening along the Marina.

Head out to the nearby desert, with plenty of tours available to choose from, and experience dune bashing!
