After reading and hearing many other peoples negative experiences of Vietnam, I decided to share my own.
Before visiting Vietnam, I was worried. I had read so much about people getting scammed, getting robbed, having awful hostels, not getting dropped off at the right location, bad customer service, bad food and the list goes on. Calum was desperate to visit and I wanted to see the war memorials so we decided to head there anyway, but that didn’t stop me from being nervous.
In the weeks we spent in Vietnam, we came across no problems at all.

I find it so hard to buy for Calum and my travel loving friends! You can’t get them anything too big because it won’t fit in the luggage, or too heavy because again, of the luggage. You can’t buy them gifts for home because they are travelling so often. You can’t get them tickets for a show or event because they may not even be in the country at that time. Well, I am sure they will still love gifts for their return and you can of course, contact them to see when they will next be home.
